Here you can read about the restoration of two classic Mercedes-Benz models. The first restoration project is a Mercedes-Benz 200 (W110) from 1966 - also called "Fintail" - carried out between 2002 and 2003. The second is an ongoing project with a Mercedes-Benz 170Va (W136) from 1950, a project that began in summer 2008.

July 2010: The chassis are almost done. Only the
engine with transmission is left to assemble.

For those of you who are interested in decoding Mercedes-Benz factory codes (the codes indicating what interior, special equipment, paint, etc. a particular car has at the time of delivery) there is a M-B Codes section.
